Purpose of Job:
i) Ensure timely completion with auditable trails of payroll processing for the Lodge.
ii) Pay all wages on-time and accurately, including applicable claims relating to overtime, allowances and applicable C&B relevant to staff.
iii) Ensure timely completion with auditable trails of monthly, half yearly and yearly government & respective agencies claims affecting staff’s statutory entitlements and rebates for the Lodge. Specifically, NS-Men claims, Maternity, Paternity, Childcare, FWL rebates, CPF excess refund and so forth.
Job Description:
- Collecting timesheet data and payroll information
- Entering data into payroll databases and EPE payroll module.
- Calculating wages, applicable allowances, night shift allowances, overtime, misc medical reimbursements, bonuses, leaver’s tax deductions and all component relating to total C&B.
- Preparing and processing monthly payroll (2-cycles)
- Monthly submission of CPF & relevant collections by CPF Board
- Monthly submission of FWL and applicable rebates claims
- Yearly submission of IR8A and its appendixes
- Yearly reconciliation of CPF TW and applicable refund claims, if any
- Yearly submission of Maternity, Paternity and Childcare Leave claims
- Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation, transactions and relevant reconciliations.
- Responding to payroll-related inquiries and including audit queries, if any
The Candidate:
- At least a Diploma with 3 years of hands-on payroll experience of more than 100 staff headcount
- Working knowledge of basic payroll practices and Singapore Employment Act
- Experience working with payroll software, EPE Access a plus point
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High numerical aptitude
- Detail-oriented person
