As we searched for fuss-free and delightful home products, we were often more frustrated than satisfied as we bought what was available in the market. Hence, we started Weavve and stand by one rule: Each Weavve essential is designed to be exactly what we’d enjoy using in our very own homes.
Our goal is to enhance the feeling of coming back home, a place where you can truly relax your shoulders and ease up that light frown, by bringing easy and timeless home essentials into your homes.
Role summary
As social media content and creators play a pivotal role in helping brands tell stories, we are looking for a social commerce manager who can help us build our community and tell our stories. You will spot opportunities across platforms and trends, develop creative content ideas and campaigns, and execute social commerce campaigns that generate increased awareness and sales. You will bring together our internal content, ads and creator partnerships to develop a rich tapestry of content to represent what Weavve is all about.
Job description & duties
- Staying current on market trends to ensure our platforms and marketing efforts evolve accordingly
- Building and managing all creator relationships, supporting them in all aspects of marketing and other efforts. This includes organizing and participating in events to build community and network with creators, other merchants, etc.
- Managing social commerce campaigns across all channels (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), evaluating the performance of these campaigns and improving performance
- Developing social media partnerships with creators, brands and other partners, including content marketing, cross promotion, product collaborations, giveaways, etc.
- Creating short form / low-fidelity content (including repostings) to create hype around any initiatives, products or campaigns
- Driving new strategies to increase awareness, engagement, brand loyalty and UGC through social media and other channels (email, loyalty program, etc)
- Collaborating with various teams to coordinate campaigns (operations, marketing, etc.), project managing all internal and external resources.
- Growing revenue and margins related to social commerce
- Engaging in other marketing or company efforts beyond social commerce channels
Requirements:
- You love all forms of social media and video content, and are an avid consumer of Reels, TikToks, livestreams etc.
- You were born to tell stories and create content, especially in quick, short-form, low fidelity formats. You aren’t shy of appearing in front of the camera.
- You love meeting new people, understanding what makes them tick, and building strong relationships.
- You are a natural and effective communicator regardless of delivery styles (e.g. verbal, written, messaging, etc)
- You’re a hands on problem solver, can adapt quickly to changing situations and enjoy getting things done.
- You’re able to multitask and prioritize in order to move with the opportunities and the fast changing social commerce environment.
- You’re flexible with work hours as you understand that in social commerce things happen around the clock.
- You love closing deals and making bank!
- Basic copywriting and design skills will be a plus
- Proficient with content management on Instagram, TikTok and other social media / commerce / video platforms.
- Basic understanding of business and channel models, including discounting, margins and marketing costs. Basic knowledge of advertising will be useful.
- Fluent with Microsoft office / google docs
- A love for home products and great designs will be a big plus!
