The position:
- As the Motion Design Director in our brand experience agency, your task is to help conceptualise, manage and oversee visual direction of projects from ideation to completion, in both video editing and motion graphics.
- You will be working with, managing, and overseeing design outputs from creative design resources (video editors, motion graphic designer and animator) around the region.
- You’ll work closely with the creative team to help bring to life content solutions for events and digital platforms, keeping ideas and the visual language in which they are expressed, on track and on brand.
The person we are looking for:
- At least 8-10 years experience in an event based industry/advertising agency/design house/post production house
- Excellent creative and artistic presentation skills
- Excellent understanding of creative and production process within Southeast Asia and APAC coupled with passion for technology.
- Strong in-depth knowledge of brand positioning and industry trends.
- Strong aesthetic sense with intuitive and informed understanding of what makes a truly great content that matters.
- Strong drive to deliver world class contents for brand experiences, integrated consumer campaigns, PR, online and offline activation.
- Hands-on willingness, involving in all stages of the creative process: ideation to creative presentation to project execution.
- Excellent creative presentation skills and a passion for building and developing open, trusting client relationships.
- Fluent in conceptualising and directing content ideas, design, storyboarding, editing, motion design and animation.
- Experience in managing and working with in-house and freelance design resources.
- Can demonstrate the ability to input and voice your point of view, and lead a team of content designers
- Ability to storyboard to illustrate a concept is a plus
- Passionate about art, design, culture and current affairs and you keep up to date with the events, creative and media industry
- Good organisational skills, and excellent communications skill
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- You are based in Singapore
