Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR Executive to join our team at Jamiyah Singapore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's mission by ensuring effective human resource management practices, fostering a positive work culture, and contributing to the overall success of our programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Staffing:
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job vacancies to conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding process.
- Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of open positions.
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and foster a sense of community within the organization.
3. HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and organizational standards.
- Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and advise management on necessary adjustments.
4. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and competencies.
- Support the design and implementation of training initiatives that align with organizational goals.
5. Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal-setting and performance improvement.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
6. HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, leave management, and benefits administration.
Qualifications:
- GCE O Levels/Diploma in Human Resource.
- Proven experience as an HR Executive or similar role.
- Knowledge of Singapore's employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
