Position Purpose
This role is to lead the design, architecture and development for Cash and Trade Management TIBCO integration Projects (Site initiatives with Regional application/IT impact as well as Regional application releases). This role is essential a technical lead to analysis, design, develop and support the Services for the EMX platform and various TIBCO component’s like Business Works, EMS, MFT, CFT.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Define best practices, design, building & support the essential foundations of the TIBCO integration platform.
· Migrating TIBCO BW, EMS, MQ Adapter and Managed File Transfer application from the existing platform to new platform.
· Partner with offshore team to define & coordinate technical design and project delivery.
· To review High level, low level design and provide the technical guidance.
· To provide day-to-day level-3 support and assist in troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
Contributing Responsibilities
· Develop new common framework jointly with other applications/project teams.
· Contribute towards the end-to-end solutioning for these new integration streams.
· Contribute towards defect leakage and quality improvement initiatives.
· To share support and expertise by providing training and knowledge sharing sessions with the onsite and offshore team members.
Technical and Behavioral Competencies required
· Hands-on Design, Development, Deployment, Configuration & Support of various Integration platform components.
· Solid hands-on design & development experience in TIBCO product in ActiveMatrix suites (BW, BPM, BE,MFT,BC ,EMS, Hawk, and Adapters etc).
· Extensively worked on Web Services (SOAP/REST) .
· Java/J2EE background with experience in Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse, JUnit, Apache* etc
· Track record in providing application and technical assistance on multiple systems and platforms.
· Understanding of XML file format, hashing and encryption, and transfer protocols (sFTP, AS2, SOAP, etc.)
Experience and Qualifications required
· 8+ years of experience in the Technology field including hands on in both development and production support roles.
· Track record in providing application and technical assistance on multiple systems and platforms.
· Experience in providing communications across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels.
· Experience in supporting multiple applications, establishing best practices processes and procedures.
· Experience in planning, designing and executing effective support and process models
· Understanding of Software process Models like Agile, Waterfall etc.
· Experience in Incident, Problem Management: Incident tracking & reporting; Problem tracking & reporting until resolution to ensure reduction of production Incidents.
· Experience in or participation in Capacity Planning, Re-Engineering, Performance Fine Tuning.
· Desire experience in Infrastructure Migrations: Hands on experience in planning and executing DB Migrations, Server Migrations, Version Upgrades from the production support perspective.
