RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manager drives and oversees the execution of the engagement and outreach efforts of the cluster. He/she is instrumental in forging and nurturing meaningful connections with community partners within the cluster such as other Social Service Agencies, volunteers, government agencies, businesses, and grassroots organisations to fulfil MINDS vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the Intellectual Disability (ID) population in Singapore while creating areas for Persons with ID to be able to contribute to their community. He/she is responsible to design and develop engagement strategy and programmes for community interactions between Person with ID and various community stakeholders.
He/she sense makes the needs and priorities within the community, in order to assist the Cluster Leadership plan and develop its programmes to cater to these needs.
He/she identifies and manages the risk and quality of the programmes, monitors programme resource utilisation to ensure they are within approved budget and reviews information pertaining to the operations of the cluster. He/she will be the key point of contact to internal and external stakeholders.
A client-centric, resourceful, proactive professional who possesses leadership and team management skills, the Senior Manager is strategic in his / her approach and works well with both internal and external stakeholders
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the outreach strategy and programmes in the Cluster is in alignment with the overall outreach strategy and plans for MINDS.
- Liaise and coordinate on all matters pertaining outreach and engagement within the cluster both internally and externally.
- Establish, align and track key performance indicators for the effectiveness of our engagement and outreach efforts to MINDS overall outreach strategy and plans.
- Develop outreach and engagement strategy and programmes for the cluster.
- Manage and supervise the engagement and outreach activities in pursuance to MINDS overall vision and objectives.
- Review engagement and outreach programmes to ensure relevance and effectiveness in meeting both the needs of the clients and the community.
- Implement, review, and evaluate work processes to ensure smooth running of engagement and outreach programmes.
- Set up system to document and track progress of outreach and engagement programmes for the purpose of improving and reviewing service quality, and programme outcomes.
- Develop and establish professional or social networks with the community to leverage on community resources, partners, and volunteers to meet the various needs within the cluster.
- Connect, consult, and collaborate with relevant community partners, and be a catalyst for action in raising disability awareness and inclusion within the cluster.
- Connect, and collaborate with relevant community partners to create programmes and partnerships for our clients to contribute and value add to the community within the cluster
- With the support of the Manager to lead the budget planning and execution of outreach and engagement budget, i.e. EOM and OOE
- Forge strong partnerships with internal corporate entities to ensure the cluster is up to date to the developments within MINDS.
- Coordinate and Liaise on all other areas of planning and development for the cluster such as residential services, social enterprises, employment development and transition support
- Degree Holder in relevant field of Social Services or Allied Health Professional.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of staff.
- Effective and good interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Financial management keeping budgets and managing expenses.
- Analytical Thinking and attention to details.
- 5 Years and above working experience in Disability Field.
