#NEW# Regulatory Project Manager - OTC Trading - 6-8 months

Are you an experienced and proactive individual with a strong background in project management within the financial industry? We are seeking a talented Regulatory Project Manager to join our dynamic team for a project spanning from now until October. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in key regulatory deliverables, focusing on MAS OTC Trade reporting gap analysis and MAS rules Re-write 2024.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project PM in establishing the overall delivery project structure and governance.
  • Manage project meetings and updates, including material preparation, minutes, and following up on actions.
  • Collaborate with IT and Functional delivery leads, primarily Operations & Compliance, on project documentation and status reports.
  • Provide support to business users and IT in user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a change/project role, demonstrating a solid understanding of standard project delivery and the system development lifecycle.
  • Strong background in OTC Derivatives Trade reporting, either in a BAU or Change implementation capacity.
  • Direct exposure to MAS Re-write implementation is advantageous; equivalent initiatives such as EMIR rewrite may be considered.
  • Good grasp of OTC Derivatives products (e.g., IR Swaps, XCCY Swaps, FX fwd/Swaps, CDS, etc.).
  • Experience with systems such as Murex, Message Automation (Broadridge), and trade reporting repository DTCC.
  • Experience with HKMA Trade reporting (HKTR) is desired.
  • Ability to collaborate with both Functional and IT stakeholders across Asia and UK time zones.

Education/Technical Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Financial Industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA and Confluence) will be preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with a considerable degree of autonomy.
