About This Role:-
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Services, you will assist in designing, implementing, and managing high-performance trading networks and datacentre infrastructure for the digital exchange. Your role involves supporting network configurations, overseeing installations, and maintaining and upgrading systems. Additionally, you will assist in providing innovative solutions to meet business challenges and comply with MAS TRM guidelines, while also supporting office networks, including WAN/LAN technologies, security, and wireless connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in architecting, administering, and optimizing network infrastructure with a focus on ultra-low latency within a Colocation Data Centre.
- Work with Extranet service providers to support market data delivery and order execution, ensuring a fair and transparent market.
- Assist in the establishment of Direct Connect between Colocation Data Centre and AWS.
- Contribute to architecting, administering, and optimizing networks within AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Manage Cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization (preferred).
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, providing support as needed.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Support the deployment and management of server and storage solutions to meet business requirements.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Document IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Identify and report potential risks.
- Participate in securing the network and IT infrastructure through best practices.
- Explore and adopt automation and innovative solutions for enhanced efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, IT Security, and Application teams to contribute to the delivery of secure, resilient, and highly available infrastructure to support a 24x7 operational environment.
Qualifications And Experience
Education
- Diploma or Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
Experience and Skill
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in network engineering, system administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates without experience welcome to apply
- Basic understanding of market venues and exchange protocols (FIX, Binary protocols).
- Possesses familiarity with low latency network technologies, including Multicast (IGMP, PIM), L2/L3, WAN Design, BGP, NAT, IPSEC, GRE is preferred.
- Understanding of server, storage, and virtualization technologies is preferred.
- Demonstrates familiarity with cloud and IT infrastructure components, and best practices is preferred.
- Ability to document configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic and challenging IT environment.
