Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and manage WHS activities within the sites to cultivate good EHS practices.
- Perform Risk Assessment and draft safe work procedures with clients for submission before start of project
- Site inspection and conduct safety meeting
- Report and investigate accidents and incidents at sites
- Participate in internal audits and review of Safety Management System
- Lead accident/incident investigation team to carry out investigation in any workplace accident/ incident/ near misses and recommend corrective and preventive measures to prevent re-occurrence
- Establish site emergency procedures, Organize and coordinate emergency preparedness exercise according to worksite emergency protocol
- Coordinate and advise various project team members on environmental requirement
- Supervise workers in providing Environmental measures and Conducts job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls.
- Perform construction site safety inspections and monitor, review all environmental issues and support to the project manager.
- Advice and consultation to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental safety regulations, standards, and practices.
- Advice the site staff on all matters related to Environmental issues.
- Ensure all safety matters are complied with statutory, contractual and management systems requirements.
Requirements
- Min Diploma / Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
- Registered as a WSHO
- Strong Project experience in M&E or Subcon project
- Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills
