Summary:
- The Group Financial Controller (GFC) will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of our F&B group.
- This includes overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, audit and internal controls. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, executive management team, and operational staff to ensure the financial health and success of the company.
Job Description
· Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
· Manage and oversee the preparation of timely financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
· Analyze financial data and prepare financial forecasts, including budgets, cash flow projections, and variance analysis, providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
· Monitor and manage cash flow, including overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
· Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
· Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
· Oversee the annual audit process and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
· Establish and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
· Manage and lead the accounting and finance team, providing coaching and development opportunities.
· Oversee the development of business plans, financial models, and feasibility studies for new ventures or expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives.
· Develop and maintain a risk management framework to ensure the protection of the company's assets and investments.
· Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, including maintaining an effective system of internal controls.
Job Specifications
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Experience:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the F&B industry.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
· Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
