We are looking for an individual who has experience working in a 3PL service provider as an operations or warehouse manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team to ensure smooth and efficient running of 3PL warehouse operations;
- Plan and schedule manpower deployment;
- Communicate effectively with customers;
- Ensure smooth and timely logistics order processing;
- Ensure continuous improvements in operational efficiency, identify potential cost savings and opportunities to increase productivity;
- Regularly review the operation throughput, warehouse utilization etc to continuously improve and ensure the systems, facilities and manpower are productive and adequate to handle future growth;
- Cost management, ensure timely and accurate billings are submitted monthly and preparations of annual operation budget;
- Ensure customer requirements / KPIs are met and service failures minimized;
- Plan and manage the P&L for the respective account to ensure on time deliveries;
- Perform regular checks on the operations to ensure compliance to the SOP;
- Conduct regular briefing to the operation on staff discipline, SOP and other organization related policy;
- Inculcate workplace safety and ensure safety guidelines are adhered to;
- Provide coaching, mentorship and development for staff;
- Any other duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma in Logistics or Degree / Supply Chain Management;
- At least 5 years of working experience in 3PL warehousing operations with people management;
- Able to work in fast-paced environment;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Knowledge in using Warehouse Management Systems is a must;
- Strong leadership, planning and inventory management skills;
- Experience in Pick and Pack and E-Commerce Fulfilment operations a must;
- Excellent, organizational and problem-solving communication skills;
- Willing to “Hands-on” ;
- Working Hours: 0900hrs – 1800hrs (Mon – Fri), 0900hrs – 1300hrs (Sat).
