Job Responsibilities
DISTRIBUTION
- Develop and implement the hotel’s distribution strategy
- Manage the hotel’s presence on OTAs, GDS and other channels
- Ability to take a leading role in the management of computer systems in operation within the hotel including but not limited to Opera, TARS ecosystem, Accor websites, Channel Manager, Rate Shopping Tools, EzRMS and other online tools
- Planning and management of Rates and Inventory with consultation with the Director of Revenue
- Competitor intelligence, ongoing research and analysis of product & price online by using all available tools such as OTAInsight, Supernova, EzRMS
- Communicate Accor tactical campaigns to all related departments
- Ensures the daily data in EzRMS is successfully extracted from Opera
- Daily checking rate integrity using Supernova include performing test bookings on lost cases
- Maintain and manage the daily data page in STR
- Critical dates or Peak dates review for the next 365 days
- Track all promo production and monitor performance
- Prepares reports for the weekly RevMax meeting
- Audit all.accor.com and major OTAs channels at least once a month and whenever necessary
- Completes any rate loading across DataWeb, Opera and Siteminder
- Assist in development of the annual distribution plan and financial budget
- Work closely with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communnication in the area of but not limited to Hotel Description (HOD), hotel microsite and F&B outlet distribution channels
RESERVATIONS
- Work closely alongside with Reservations department and step in as and when required or necessary
- Review new bookings and cancellations made and highlight the impact on future business
- Review No Shows yesterday and highlight findings before the morning briefing
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of regional/global offers
- Manage VIP bookings from the owner's office, Executive office and Accor head office
- Monitor and analyze live availability, hotel occupancy, revenue, and average room rate trends and alert the Director of Revenue of high/low demand dates
- Updates and communication of free sales and stop sell
- Group management and coordination with Sales and Reservations through weekly group meetings to communicate group status, group ceiling, highlight critical dates and inventory
- Monitoring RESA Web usage
- Assists with monitoring accuracy of reservations in tracking - REV Code, DIS Code
- Review daily reservations entered and audit tracking and rates to maintain accurate reservation information
- To communicate to the Director of Revenue any information of interest
- Prepare and validate commission reports weekly and monthly
- Responsible in ensuring all reports (daily and monthly) are completed on time
REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma in any education
· Knowledge in the Reservations system will be an advantage
· Knowledge of the Opera system will be an added advantage.
· Competent in Excel application.
· A positive and keen-to-learn attitude
· Able to multi-task and detail oriented
· Good interpersonal and communications skills
