Summary of the position:
- Liaison Officer with Platform, Relationship manager and clients
- Related to Import and export letter of credit
- Able to support Team Lead whenever is necessary
Main responsibilities:
1) Manage Operational risks
- Ensure that transactions are processed within turnaround time;
- Perform any sanction screening if required
2) Provide good customer service
- Maintain same day processing
- Provide appropriate technical advice to customers and Relationship Managers
3) Business continuity
- Provide backup whenever is required.
Main duties details:
- Review LC and contacting customers to clarity on ambiguous terms
- Ensure that transactions are processed in conformity with conditions
- Ensure transactions posted to platform with correct instruction.
- Monitor/trace and ensure transactions are processed within SLA
- Perform any sanction controls as per procedures
Secondary duties details:
- Backup team mates if required
- Involve in cross training within the department
- Involve in any projects being assigned by department head
Requirements:
- Min 3-5 years’ experience in trade banking
- Knowledge of UCP rules, ISBP 745, ISP98, URDG, URC, URR rules and incoterms rules
- Candidate with CDCS qualification will have added value
- Good communication and internal personal skills
