Responisbilites:
- Provide sterile surgical instrument sets and other medical equipment following established policy and procedure.
- Involved in Decontamination, Inspection, Preparation, Packaging, Sterilization, Storage and distribution of sterile medical devices to Operating Theatres, Wards, Centres and Clinics.
- Involved in projects work-process improvements.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment and fills cart requisitions using IT system.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of simple diagnostics and therapeutic biomedical equipment.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or related fields/ Minimum National ITE Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or related fields
- 3 years working experience as Sterile Supplies Technician or sterile processing unit will be preferred
- Able to work 3 rotational shifts(8am-4.35pm; 1pm-9.35pm; 9pm-7.30am), including weekends & public holidays.
