Responsibilities:
- Close monitoring of project activities including work progress and quality adherence to specifications, performance of sub-contractors’ manpower requirement and to ensure that proper recording and or documentation of site works are carried out in the most efficient cost-effective ways.
- Stringent checks on safety and quality during both planning and implantation stages.
- Check progress claims from consultants/contractors to ensure payment are in order and according to the terms of appointment. Prepare periodical progress reports and to attend all meetings or briefing required by the senior management.
- Continuous grooming on potential site personnel to take on more responsible tasks.
- Make every effort to preserve an atmosphere of harmonious understanding and cooperation between all parties engaged on the works.
- Render assistance whenever possible to other departments in the company or companies within the group on matters pertaining to the project he is involved in which may not relevant to his specific duties.
- Any other duties that may assigned from time to time by Management. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the company.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board Singapore with relevant working experience
- Minimum 12 years of engineering experience and at least 8 years of experience in managing civil and infrastructure construction work for large scale projects (LTA project preferred)
