Avionics/Electronics Certifying Staff (Component Repair & Overhaul - Mechanical Component Maintenance)

Avionics/Electronics Certifying Staff role reporting to Workshop Manager performs critical Testing, Repair and Troubleshooting of Flight Control Actuations Electronics ensuring that final products are safe and meet customer expectations while keeping the repair process as effective and cost-efficient as possible.

Responsibilities include:

  • Test, Repair and Troubleshooting Tasks
  • Shop Process Control and Monitoring
  • Safety Management and Human Factors
  • Documentation and Data Input
  • Preventive Maintenance of Equipment
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Experienced level position with candidates undergoing extensive training and qualifications. Only Singaporean citizens and PRs may apply.


Requirements for Avionic Technician/ Certifying Staff are as follows:

  • Diploma or Degree in an Aerospace/Aviation/Electronics, science or engineering discipline.
  • Relevant Electronic/Avionic experience in Aviation industry, Preferably Background with minimum 1 year experienced with an MRO
  • Must Passed CAAS Air Legislation Examination for M10, L11 or L12 (obtained EASA M10 would be advantage)
  • Must Passed CAAS F11 & F 13 or M1000 & M3000
  • Has attended Human factor training
  • Knowledgeable in EASA/FAA/CAAS Regulations
  • Experience with ISO quality system would be advantageous
  • Analytical skills – need to be able to spot problems quickly and find the underlying causes so changes can be made
  • Critical thinking – once problems are identified, solutions and improvements must be found. This might involve thinking about a process, procedure or problem in a completely new way.
  • Attention to detail – as the people responsible for the technical work performed, as well as the people who notice and report on problems, every detail must be noticed and acted upon when necessary
  • Numerical skills – statistical analysis and data analysis
  • Communications skills – strong written and verbal communication skills are key. Must be able to relay potentially complex ideas to a wide range of audiences – both in personal consultations but also through company SOPs and technical documentation
  • Team working skills – working as part of the operations team, and in close coordination with other teams throughout the facility (as well as potential for interaction with suppliers and customers)
