Role and Responsibilities
As Bigfix Administrator, responsible for installation, implementation, customization and performance
tuning of BigFix components.
Configure & solve any issues related to patching & compliance related activities
Creating fixlet\ask to accommodate Software Distribution via BigFix
Accountable to ensure high level of customer satisfaction with service delivery
Create web reports filters and schedule reports
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 4-9 Years relevant experience required in Bigfix BigFix L2\\L3 Support and implementation
Ability to patch/release management and ensure all packages are deployed efficiently and to ensure
appropriate resolution of BigFix and general patching issues
Experience in developing Relevance queries & Action script in Big-fix
Proficient in understanding technical problems and their impacts to the business
Expertise in resolving BESRelay & BESClient issues
Proficient in OSD module
Proficient in Bigfix Inventory and Software deployment
SCCM Administrator
SCCM administrator helps to maintain the system windows and viability of underlying systems.
The SCCM administrator needs to update the system versions and utilize the patches.
They are involved in building the new system, keeping the security, and usability of devices at
their level best.
They also need to assist the third-party system patching and knowing other system knowledge is
essential.
Need to ensure that all the systems devices are working properly and utilize the SCCM system
resources.
Responsible to make sure that the system device is working smoothly, and also have the overall
knowledge about these systems running on different operating systems.
Responsible to deploy the driver’s update, maintain the system configuration baselines, help to
update BIOS range models, and prevent the system configuration drift.
SCCM administrator assists other team members in order to achieve the desired result.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Working knowledge on Windows & Unix Operating system
Good to have knowledge of Powershell , shell script , bigfix relevance language
Knowledge of any automation tool SCCM / BMC Bladelogic / Bigfix
Self-motivated to identify and correct operational issues
