Job Title: Cleaner cum Steward (OMAKASE@STEVENS)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Kitchen, kitchen equipments, surfaces, serving ware, dishware are clean and sanitised. Ensure that damaged items are separated.
- Carry out general cleaning includes washing, sweeping, mopping, polishing the stores and kitchen including prepare equipment if required for external catering or functions
- Collects and removes trash, including empty bottles from all areas of operation and dispose of waste at designated garbage area daily.
- Maintains cleanliness of kitchen equipment’s such as chiller, griddle, ovens & hoods, pots and pans and other types of kitchen utensils.
- Operates the dishwashing machine or other machines safety for cleaning purposes,
- Monitors and ensure temperature of the dishwashing machine properly monitored with proper recording on the temperature control sheet.
- Ensures that the cleaning detergents & chemicals are being utilized in manner that dilution to water is appropriately being followed in accordance to its MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) so as to ensure that nothing will go to wastage.
- Ensures guest satisfaction & promotes restaurant image in business by rendering and producing excellent quality of cleaning and sanitation of all equipment & table wares being utilized in Restaurants and other guest areas related to restaurant.
- Maintains grooming standard as per company grooming policy.
- Participates and attends all training, meeting organized by management to always improve skills and knowledge necessary to perform the tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level candidates welcome to apply
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Good knowledge of the cleaning equipment
- Ability to communicate basic English
