Responsibilities:
- Manage Rakuten Promotion Platform (RPP) which is a marketing solution for Rakuten Ichiba’s Merchants with 3 other members.
- Achieve the business KPI by generating and enhancing the values of our products with a focus on Merchants’ GMS (Gross Merchandise Sales).
- Act as the project lead and collaborating with both Rakuten internal businesses and external digital marketing partners.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with business decision-makers both internally and externally in ensuring a strong pipeline with Ichiba (E-Commerce) business.
- Build and maintain growth strategy for business sustainability.
- Cultivate section members’ capabilities for their professional growth.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Must have at least 3 years of project or product management experience.
- Must-have language requirements: Japanese (Native level) as you will be required to communicate frequently with our Japanese counterparts, and English (Business level).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills required to deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the Advertising & Media Industry, Travel Internet Industry (agency side, media side, OTA etc.) or Coupon Platforms, eCommerce and IT service services will be highly beneficial.
- Capable of multi-tasking projects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and conflict management skills.
- Capable of performing detailed work precisely like report creation and data analysis.
- High commitment to achieve the team's goal.
