Responsibilities
Key tasks include:
- Manage the Pulau Ubin Micro-grid project;
- Oversee and manage project management and grant administration efforts for R&D projects, including to:
- Monitor project progress, manage project virement and variation requests, ensure the timely submission of audit and progress reports by grantees, check and process claims submitted by grantees, and check and process invoices raised by Finance for disbursement of grant funding to grantees;
- Support the department in providing updates to relevant agencies on budget projections, project progress, and funding utilisation for R&D funds;
- Work with Finance to streamline grant administration and project management processes, including exploring the use of digital tools and data analytics to support these efforts;
- Improve EMA's grants governance processes; including ensuring that EMA's Grant Management Handbook adheres to NRF's guidelines, and updating the Handbook where necessary; and
- Support the department's efforts to develop a grid capability roadmap, to identify the grid capabilities needed to support the Singapore Energy Transition and develop strategies to achieve them. This includes organising and supporting workshops and meetings where needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline
- Independent, meticulous, detail-oriented, self-motivated and responsible
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Proficiency in data analytics/automation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, RPA) will be an advantage

Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm (Mon to Thu) and 8.30am to 5.30pm (Fri)
Working Location: Alexandra Road
