Overview:
Kitchen Aide, plays an essential role in supporting the operations of the FCE labs in schools. They act as an assistant of teachers, and aids the students in various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient food preparation process to ensure a clean and safe environment for students to conduct their lessons in.
At FCE Laboratory
· Maintain daily cleanliness of the Culinary Labs and Preparation Room
· Assist teachers to place weekly orders for food ingredients, materials and cleaning supplies for the department
· Check and account for the delivery of ingredients and kitchen supplies
· to prepare materials for weekly food practicals and theory lessons
· to supervise the safety and discipline of students during lessons
· Conduct safety checks on sharp tools, knives and gas stoves after lessons.
· Conduct termly checks on the inventory items and report items that require replacement
· Support the running of food-related school activities
· Keep a proper inventory record of all culinary stores and books
At Operations Department
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and facilities.
· Provide logistical support for school events and activities, such as carrying and arranging furniture and equipment.
· Operate and maintain basic office equipment and materials.
Specifications:
Working hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7.30am to 4.45pm
