About Our Client:


Our client is an all-inclusive intervention center for children with special needs in Singapore. Their expert team uses diverse and intensive early intervention programs to help children overcome developmental disabilities, learning, and communication difficulties.


The integrated approach includes school readiness, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, educational therapy, social skills training, and engaging multi-sensory activities for babies and toddlers. Their personalized programs promote quality learning, leisure, and care in a safe environment.


Speech Therapy Session


Speech therapy exercises and activities are tailored to the child's disorder, age, interests, and needs. The Programme is to include:

  1. Play-based interactions and stimulating toys/activities to foster language development.
  2. Modeling correct sounds and syllables during age-appropriate play to teach speech skills.
  3. Providing strategies and homework for parents/caregivers to reinforce therapy at home.
  4. Ensuring transferable skills to various settings by collaborating with teachers and caregivers.
  5. Adapting goals as the child's communication profile evolves.
  6. Incorporating goals into enjoyable activities for maximum engagement and motivation.
  7. Promoting social and emotional development through effective communication and relationship-building.
  8. Promoting effective communication so the child experiences social and emotional benefits, establishing positive relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Use data and appropriate assessment tools to identify student therapy needs;
  2. Identify and prioritize goals to facilitate individual and group interventions;
  3. Create a personalized intervention plan based on the child's strengths and weaknesses.
  4. Implement relevant child's care plans;
  5. Conduct speech therapy sessions in a supportive and engaging environment, either in small groups or one-on-one
  6. Complete specialist report, case notes and other documentation;
  7. Perform appropriate caseload management and
  8. Continuously uphold standards of best practice to ensure quality service delivery.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree or Post-graduate qualification in Speech & Language Therapy from a recognised University.
  • Must be fully registered AHPC.
  • Local or PR preferred.
  • Must have compassion to work with children of special needs.
  • STs who are working with Paediatrics in Early Intervention Centre is preferred
