- Work as a team to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on USVs, including hull, mechanical, and electrical systems, ensuring fleet availability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues and execute timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Responsible for ship maintenance, repair work, costing and reports
- Coordinate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities without impacting mission schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors when required
- Coordinate with customer on issues pertaining to maintenance tasks
- Any other tasks as directed by the Ops Manager or Department Manager
Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Ship Repair Manager or similar role, with a strong mechanical background in maritime environments.
- Possess Supervise Safety Instruction for Ship Repair Manager Certificate
- Solid understanding of the operation and maintenance of maritime vessels, with a preference for experience in unmanned systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
