Summary
The objectives of the position are performing assigned duties punctually and accurately as well as assisting in maintaining full set of accounting records for a legal entity.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her manager:
- Account Payable function i.e. handle invoice posting in our accounting system, checking process and follow up its status with aimed to ensure on-time payment
- Assist in month/year end closing
- Responsible for inter-company transactions and reconciliation
- Responsible for Accounts Receivables outstanding and follow up
- Other ad hoc assignment
What you'll need
- Degree in Accounting or Tertiary education in related disciplines
- 3 – 5 years accounting experience
- Experience in AP is a must
- Previous experience in handling inter-company transactions would be an advantage
- Able to handle full set of accounts and financial analysis
- Proficient in PC application such as Excel, Words, etc.
- Detail minded, well organized and accurate
- Self-motivated with sense of responsibility
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must
- Excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin required to communicate, and liaise with Mandarin-speaking only stakeholders
- Experience in SAP is a must
- Able to work in a dynamic working environment and works well under pressure
