About the Role
The primary focus of this role is to comprehend the business landscape by aligning with the organization's strategy and milestones, driving HR and people performance through initiated programs. The HR Operations Lead provides support to a variety of businesses and collaborating with business leaders across the board. This revolves around tactical HR operations, requiring a Generalist-trained professional but at the same time, a business operations enabler. At present, it's a solo contributor role with the potential to evolve into a team management position overseeing 1-2 members in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with managers, the goal is to address specific business scenarios & needs and create workflows, but not limited to, such as setting up shared services to support overseas business and or how shared services can better enable the different aspect of the business
- Taking charge of core programs involves leading implementation, fostering positive camaraderie among stakeholders, managing funding mechanisms, and proactively seeking opportunities.
- Leading end-to-end recruitment processes, collaborating with hiring managers for accurate shortlisting, and assessing competency and cultural compatibility for future bench strength are crucial.
- Providing guidance on performance improvement plans, fostering a performance-driven culture, addressing employee relations, and managing conflicts contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- The role extends to policy development and implementation, HR analytics and reporting, payroll administration, day-to-day HR operations, and festive/event management, including driving company events.
- The successful candidate will be seen by stakeholders as a crucial HR partner, receiving endorsement from leaders for their effectiveness at work and the level of customer service provided.
Requirements:
- Possess a degree/diploma in HR or any business-related discipline, with a solid 6 years of hands-on HR generalist experience.
- Familiar with working with various stakeholders and employee groups, well-versed in the Singapore Employment Act and its interpretation, as well as the TADM workflow.
- Proficiency in presentation and Excel applications is crucial, coupled with a meticulous and well-organized approach to multitasking.
- Excel in problem-solving and process management, showcasing the ability to organize people and activities effectively.
