1 Managers performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Sandwich Artist, Shift Manager, and Assistant Manager as outlined in their job description

2 Maintains overall management responsibilities for the Subway Restaurant.

3 Managers coaches and trains staffs on operational excellence to meet Productivity goals

4 Manages a staff of approximately 3 to 6. Assigns, oversees and evaluates work. Recommends promotion, transfer, or termination of team members. May conduct written and verbal staff evaluations.

5 Must be able to hold your team accountable and develop the trust and respect of your team.

6 Develops and maintains staffing levels

7 Implement shift and operation schedules for team members

8 COGS/WISR management - ordering, inventory

9 Ensure of all outlet equipment and premises to ensure they are in good working condition. If not, to report to Area Manager

10 Control Food Costs by preventing theft and ensuring accurate inventory control and portioning our product

11 Control Labor Costs by maintaining productivity and proper scheduling of staff

12 Complete daily and weekly paperwork, inventory and product ordering.

13 Proficiency in handling cash and making deposits.

14 Always maintain an immaculately clean and food safe environment so that we are up to standard for REV audit

15 Always maintain an exemplary attitude.

16 Have a hands on management approach and ability to multitask 17 Resolve issues, solve problems, and handle unexpected situations that often arise in the restaurant business

18 Delegate effectively and understand the importance of training everyone to work effectively

19 Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff.

20 Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.

21 Maintains business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual: • Administrative Duty (Daily Sales Journal); (Credit Card Settlement); (Labour Report)

22 Supports local and national marketing initiatives.

23 Plans special events and promotions.

24 Completes University of Subway® courses as directed.

25 Work closely with Area Manager to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems
