About the Job
The WSH Coordinator will be responsible for the reinforcement of the work/project site's safety, health and environment management. He/She is required to work with the team onsite and support the project to ensure that all works are carried out safely and in accordance to legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the reinforcement of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives
- Responsible for the enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Responsible for ensuring strict compliance of procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at sites and required premises.
- Responsible for the preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
- Required to assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes
- Required to prepare permit to work and risk assessment c/w pre-task plan
- Required to prepare materials for critical works and present to the customer for approval
- To perform any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
- Required to update workers monthly timesheets to office
Requirements:
- Possess minimum WSH 'Level B' and Work At Height trained
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in WSH in Semiconductor Industry
- Candidates who possess certificate in Lifting, Scaffolding, Confined Space Assessor will be preferred
- Ability to work independently
