About Our Client

Our Client is a globally recognized logistics and transportation company known for its comprehensive services and international reach. With a diverse portfolio offering solutions ranging from freight forwarding to warehousing and distribution, they aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for a Logistics Operations Manager to be based at their HQ in Singapore.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the General Manager directly.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead commercial development efforts in various regions to meet growth and revenue objectives
  • Innovate new projects and business models to achieve desired targets
  • Implement a competency-based approach to performance management for commercial talent, fostering development and alignment
  • To be the company's representative globally in significant pitch opportunities, supporting key meetings, RFP responses, and initiatives for client expansion
  • Collaborate cross-functionally internally to craft the company's go-to-market strategy, refining sales materials and case studies tailored to specific markets
  • Work with Logistics Operations to analyze and quantify market opportunities, guiding resource planning optimization
  • Advocate for the adoption of existing processes, technologies, and resources while addressing market-specific needs or changes

The Successful Applicant

You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain related field and experience in commercial and freight forwarding/warehouse operations. You must possess a deep understanding of the logistics marketplace and be able to promote end-to-end contract logistics. You should have strong analytical and interpersonal skills; with the ability to work as a team in a multi-level and fast-paced organization. You must demonstrate success in bid processes and have strong people management skills.
