Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales, business development, and customers to understand their business objectives and requirements, and translate them into technical cloud solutions.
- Design and architect scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations on AWS architectural practices, security, performance, and operational excellence.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, proofs of concept, and pre-sales deliverables to support customer goals and showcase AWS capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS features, services, and trends, and share your knowledge with the team and the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud solutions using AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of common applications, regulations, and challenges.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification, or equivalent AWS skills and knowledge.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as Azure, GCP, etc., is a plus.
