Job Description:
As an Assistant Project Manager/ site Engineer for Construction Facade, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of facade projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in construction facade works, ensuring that projects are executed with precision, efficiency, and in adherence to industry standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of construction facade projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Implement effective project management methodologies to optimize project delivery. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns. Evaluate and select subcontractors and vendors, negotiating contracts and agreements. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful completion of projects. Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Jobs Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent. Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Facade work, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Candidates are to have Aluminum and Glass Facade experience or related fields. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices.
- Candidates are required to work with multiple departments and parties to ensure smooth completion of the projects/tasks assigned. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes. Preferably Manager specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
