Job Responsibilities
· Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to align merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns.
· Maintenance of Product Item Attributes categorization
· Weekly analysis of Products sell-through and monthly data reports required.
· Merchandising support and cross-functional collaboration on key projects
· Accountable for sales performance, pricing, inventory, buying, allocation, grouping & markdowns.
· Coordinate launching plans and follow-up with the Logistics Department for smooth delivery.
· To work with the Visual Merchandising on the in-store display guideline
· Provide leadership and guidance to the merchandising team.
· Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
· Report efficiently to the Department Head on weekly action plans
Requirement
· Diploma/ Degree in Business/ Retail Management/ Statistics/ Business Analytics
· At least 2-3 years’ experience in Merchandising, Retail Buying, or relevant experience
· General knowledge of Merchandising, Buying process and strong Product knowledge
· Proven ability to multitask in fast paced environment, manages competing priorities and meets deadlines.
· Strong working knowledge of Excel with good analytical skills
· Team player mentality and effective at building cross functional relationships
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Resilient with the ability in dealing with ambiguity and stress
