Responsibilities
- Manage operations to ensure smooth business operations
- Handle customer complaints in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure other employees comply with health and food safety regulations

- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
- Ensure work areas are clean and well-maintained
- Supervise staff members and encourage or reprimand as necessary
- Assist the Banquet Operations Manager in overseeing the daily administration and operations requirements.
- Attend the daily briefing conducted by the F&B Manager in the absence of the Banquet Operations Manager.
- Supervise staff/part-timers and provide necessary training for all staff.
- Co-ordinate, organise and plan upcoming Banquet functions from staffing arrangement, audio/visual equipment, sound system, furniture, linen, guest supplies, set-up to billing.
- Rectify defects in Function Rooms, public area or equipment through the follow-up of Maintenance Work Order.
- Check and ensure the equipment set up is clean and in good working condition. This also applies to lighting and air-conditioning.
- Check signages for the entrance of Function Rooms, between guest lifts and hotel lobby, and also put up Chinese signage, if necessary.
- Handle complaints and feedback by guests or organizers and take immediate action to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Responsible for opening bills and presenting bill settlements to organizers after functions.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Public Relations or any related fields
- Have prior experience in Food & Beverage establishments
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience
- Independent individual with a positive working attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Possess good organizational and time management skills
- Able to work shifts
