Senior Accountant (APAC)
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage accounting and finance functions including monthly reporting, full-sets, tax, treasury, etc.
· Ensure timely and accurate closing of month-end accounts
· Analyse results, variance analysis, and make recommendations for improvements
· Provide inputs for cashflow forecasting and budgeting to monitor working capital
· Manage the banking and treasury needs of the entities
· Review local and foreign tax returns in line with statutory requirements
· Ensure strong internal controls and corporate governance
· Projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
Skills/Qualifications:
· Chartered Accountant and/or Degree holder in Accountancy with at least 3 to 5 years of commercial and/or audit experience, with excellent knowledge of IFRS/SFRS
· Experience in maintaining a full set of accounts for multiple entities
· Detailed individual who takes pride in accuracy and possesses strong technical acumen
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong track record of automation and process improvement
· FMCG/ E-commerce / direct-sales industry experience will be advantageous
