Job Description
The finance team is an integral part of the organization in enabling operations and driving financial strategies. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Director to ensure a “best in class” finance service to a rapidly growing business, support the accounting operations and fulfil corporate reporting requirements.
Main duties:
· Ensure effective accounting systems and processes are implemented across the business.
· Oversee month/quarter/year-end closure activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting:
o Review of management accounts and journal entries.
o Review of reconciliation schedules.
o Preparation of month/quarter/year-end deliverables for parent company reporting in compliance with parent company deadlines
o Develop and prepare monthly reporting for the Senior Leadership Team including actual versus forecast analysis, book and earn, cash flow and working capital analysis.
· Responsible for compliance with internal control framework and ensure that all controls documentation is kept up to date e.g. COSO, Risk Control Matrix.
· Manage year-end statutory accounts filing and audit.
· Manage yearly corporate tax filing and quarterly GST submissions.
· Prepare detailed quarterly forecasts with accompanying analysis.
· Perform data-driven financial analysis to support commercial decisions.
· Provide finance-related reports as required on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Degree in Accountancy and at least 7 years of accounting/finance work experience.
· Well versed in IFRS accounting.
· Excellent IT skills including high proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.
· Experience of data analysis, modelling and reporting.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience of working to tight deadlines.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively and efficiently.
· Complex problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Ideally, the candidate will also possess:
· CPA qualification
· 2-3 years of Big 4 Audit experience
· Previous experience within the software industry or a multi-currency environment
· Knowledge of ERP Accounting systems
