Description
Verify accuracy of invoices from creditors.Document journal entries for purchases and cash payments, allocating costs to appropriate accounts.Monitor the designated email account to receive statements of account from creditors.Reconcile creditors' statements of account and communicate with creditors and relevant departments regarding invoice matters.Retrieve invoices for upcoming payments.Create payment vouchers for both cash-on-delivery and scheduled payments.Issue cheques for cash-on-delivery and scheduled payments.Update the purchase order system with payment dates.Organize payment vouchers together with corresponding invoices.Input creditor payments into SAP and reconcile with the cash book.Prepare detailed schedules for designated accounts.
Profile
At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable function. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment to handle up to 700 invoices a month. Liaise with external parties, creditors and internal staff to meet deadlines for month-end closing.
