Position Summary / Project Description
The DC/FM role will be assisting in managing of the Data Centre facility like power, cooling, space and Asset inventory. He or she will need to work closely with DCFM Lead and the project team to deliver the project within the timeline.
Years of Experience
Experience working in Data Centre and Facility management operations in day to day operations and maintaining IT systems.
Role and Responsibilities
- Â Perform health monitoring of the DC M&E equipment
- Attend to users’ request related to DC FM
- Assist with cabling works within the DC
- Monitor ticketing system and follow up on necessary actions
- Pre M&E maintenance works related to DC M&E equipment
- Post M&E maintenance works related to DC M&E equipment
- Attend to user enquiry about Co-Location via Service request
- Monitor power utilization for equipment in DC
- Monitor of rack space utilization in DC
- Work with vendor to identify Operational Technology (OT) devices
- Prepare risk register for vulnerabilities devices, inclusive of vulnerabilities assessment scanning
- Ensure all DC asset movement activities are updated
- Assist DC manager and Team lead in reporting generating.
- Required to be on 24 x 7 standby.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
- Comfortable with 12 hours rotating shift:-8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am as per assigned by Site Lead.
- Work 4 days off 3 days
