This pivotal role involves curating and orchestrating high-impact conferences and events that bring together industry visionaries, fostering meaningful discussions and collaborations. Conference Production

  • Leads research and agenda development per event as briefed and defined by Event Director
  • Designs and executes new event formats and content creation ideas per event
  • Recruit high-quality, relevant, and senior-level speakers per event
  • Holds oneself and team accountable for key event deadlines as defined by Event Director
  • Fosters productive relationships with internal stakeholders and with key senior-level external stakeholders.
  • Maintains awareness of revenue per event and flags risk/opportunity where applicable
  • Evaluation of event success post-event
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in content development and event delivery.
  • Monitor market trends to facilitate new ideas for events.
  • Adheres to and contributes to conference production best practice guidelines, driving efficiency and effectiveness across all projects.
  • Reporting accurate conference production objective progress and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders per project
  • Identifying and fostering relevant internal partnerships per project, ensuring collaboration is driven with a customer focus.

Market Research and Industry Networks

  • Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.
  • Develop new conference ideas and program content through meetings and tele-research with key experts.
  • Collaborate with the Event Director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio.
  • Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies related to the event.
  • Maintain existing and build new relationships and develop a conference with topics and speakers.
  • Look at additional add-ons and other ways of attracting more delegates i.e. workshops, poster sessions, partnering with associations etc.

Liaises and works with

  • Speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, advisors, delegates, and media partners
  • Editorial teams and Analyst teams across the business for content connections and tie-ups where possible
  • Marketing team for marketing events to relevant audiences with specific messaging through a variety of methods
  • Operations Team for planning delivery of events
  • Delegate Sales Team where applicable as a resource for selling event passes.
  • SpEx Sales Team- support in understanding key event features, building, and validating new business pipeline, existing/repeat client retention, and content creation for specific sponsors.
