JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Cooking
- Disposing of waste
- Training new employees
- Operating restaurant equipment such as ovens, food processors
- Refilling sauces, dressings, spices, salt, pepper, and other condiments
- Managing inventory levels and letting the Head Chef know when they need or order more ingredients or supplies
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of basic math, fractions, and common measurements like grams and cups
- Understanding food safety and hygiene practices
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation and the recipes and ingredients that the restaurant uses
- at least one year of cooking experience
- must be immediately available
