Accounts Assistant / Accounts Executive

Job Description

  • Handle full set of accounts and month end closing;
  • Prepare GST returns;
  • Prepare monthly payment by internet banking or cheque payment;
  • Liaise with external auditors, company secretary and tax agents for company related matters;
  • Prepare staffs payroll, CPF submission, IR8A & IR21;
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting;
  • Ensure timely preparation of balance sheet schedules;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policy and procedures; and
  • Assist in any ad hoc assignment.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, ACCA or Equivalent;
  • Procient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint;
  • Positive, organised, proactive, meticulous and responsible individual;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Strong sense of task ownership;
  • Good knowledge of SFRS/IFRS; and
  • Those with IT background/experience especially in modern automation tools are highly desired.
