Job Descriptions:
- Administer WSH policy and coordinate compliance with safety procedures and WSH legal requirements.
- Coordinates safety management system, promote and develop safety culture, measure and monitor safety performance.
- Recognizes safety hazards and control measures and advise on corrective recommendation(s).
- Prepares and facilitates safety awareness programme.
- Maintain safety manual and procedures.
- Monitors and inspects work activities to ensure that safety practices are carried out in all work operations.
- Carry out workplace accidents/incidents investigation and report. Monitor HIRA
- Coordinates and participates in safety meeting, and briefing.
- Assist in Quality management system related work and surveillance.
Job Requirements:
- Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B)
- At least 1 or 2 years of work experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSH Coordinator
- Possess knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Possess valid class 3 driving license is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communication skills, teamwork, initiative
Good English writing skills for report preparation
