Responsibilities:
- Create detailed cost plans to accurately forecast the costs of projects and track project progress against the budget.
- Develop tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation. Assess subcontractor proposals to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Prepare detailed and competitive quotations for signage projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and transportation costs, ensuring that these quotes meet client requirements and company profit targets.
- Formulate and implement strategies for purchasing materials and services on the most cost-effective terms, engaging with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and sustainability.
- Conduct financial risk analysis to evaluate the impact of risks and uncertainties, advising on the financial implications of various project decisions.
- Administer and evaluate project variations and claims, ensuring accurate assessment and resolution.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment to subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining healthy cash flow for the company.
- Oversee the preparation and agreement of final accounts, conducting audits on completed projects to ascertain final costs.
Requirements:
- Experience in construction processes, materials, market dynamics, and project budgeting.
- Strong negotiation prowess and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software, MS Office, and quotation preparation tools.
- Capable of interpreting floor plans and construction drawings.
- Computer literate in MS Office, with basic AUTOCAD skills preferred.
- Detail-oriented, self-reliant, adept at collaborative teamwork.
- Effective under pressure and adept at meeting tight deadlines.
