Responsibilities:

  • Channel Development:
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners and distributors aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing partners to maximize sales opportunities and enhance overall partner satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute partner enablement programs, including training sessions, marketing collateral, and sales tools.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective channel strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for channel expansion.
  • Sales Enablement:
  • Work closely with partners to ensure they are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and resources to effectively sell and support the organisation.
  • Partners include channel, OEM and public cloud providers
  • Provide ongoing support to partners through regular communication, training sessions, and joint customer visits.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for channel partners and distributors, regularly monitoring and reporting on their performance against targets.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve partner effectiveness and enhance overall collaboration.
  • Market Expansion:
  • Identify and evaluate new market segments and geographies for potential channel expansion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities to drive demand through channel partners.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven 10 years experience in channel and distribution management within the enterprise software industry.
  • Experience working with with major server & storage manufacturers
  • Strong understanding of storage technologies and the broader IT landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in managing channel programs and partner relationships
