The responsibilities of this role are:
- Ensure fairness, transparency and cost effectiveness in the entire procurement process.
- Drive consistency, leverage economies of scale, deliver cost efficiencies and exceed quality and speed expectations relative to managing and executing sourcing and contracting processes.
- Execute end to end procurement operations according to the Procurement Policy and Procedures, including managing tenders and quotations.
- Lead development of business case documentation on business process improvements to increase Procurement efficiency and agility.
- Establish and maintain regular communications and trainings with stakeholders to drive alignment of business requirements, economic opportunity areas and mutual accountability through procurement activities.
- Accountable for overseeing suppliers database and ensure that supplier data is up-to-date through annual review exercises.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
- Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & ERP systems, such as SAP S4 Hana and Ariba is preferred.
- Driven with positive mentality, strong initiative.
- Resourceful and meticulous.
- Flair in writing and managing Systems are necessary.
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.
