Job Description:
- Conduct day to day Fleet allocation (Including coordination with operation team for controlled vessel itinerary) and planning for future vessels assignments for all controlled vessels in consolidated groups
- Developing an agile portfolio strategy for fleet commercial operations in line with market conditions.
- Planning and implementing the optimum size of fleet operations.
- Internal Communication with commercial team worldwide including Tokyo Office/London Office/India Office/etc. to exchange idea and to coordinate allocation of fleet.
- Conduct day to day Supramax/ Panamax chartering activities and negotiation charter parties to maximise profits and minimize risks.
- Handing over Fixture to operation team in details and to support operation team from Chartering Prospective for post fixture.
- Conduct day to day FFA activities and contract to hedge risks
- Building and Developing new relationship with potential customers and brokers in Middle East/Aussie/Africa/The Americas/Europe/SE Asia/India/China/Korea/Japan
- Developing relationship with customers and brokers
- Monitoring market movement and to provide regular evaluation, and market analysis and to report to concerned party and management.
- Developing monthly summary of operating results, with further analysis and reporting to management.
- Developing all budget(yearly/half-yearly/quarterly) required by company with further analysis and reporting to management
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies
- Working experience of more than 2 years in Dry bulk shipping industry
- And/ or experience in Dry Bulk Operation
- Experience in giving direction to all team members to achieve developing profit
- Sufficient experience and knowledge of shipping decarbonization issues, which enable company to get more information and chances to enhance the business opportunity.
- Computer/IT literacy with good knowledge in Excel and Powerpoint
- Overseas travelling is expected.
