This administrative role will be part of the team to support the principal investigators in managing all activities related to the CyberSG R&D Programme Office (CRPO) operations. The incumbent will have to ensure compliance with the University and funding agencies guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Research Team//Executive Director in managing the manpower activities via Research Information SystEm (RISE) Activities include reviewing manpower variations, view/add/modify manpower expenditure in RISE
- Coordinate with various parties on manpower request and ensure that the required documents are completed for execution.
- Close follow up with the on the approval process and ensure prompt closure of any task
- Assist in checking for budget sufficiency for various manpower charges such as staff award, prorating of Bonus, etc.
- Prepare manpower listing for claims or audit on quarterly basis
- Track manpower expenditure utilisation for management reporting and oversee to projects’ healthy spending, and follow-up where necessary
- Provide ad-hoc advice on manpower related queries
- Assist in any events/meetings whenever required
- In charge of procurement and finance related tasks pertaining to centre operations
- In charge of PDPA and OSHE matters for the centre
- Supports the directors in general administrative duties as and when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Preferably 1 year or more in research-related or higher education industry working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat applications, and knowledge of research project management is an advantage
- Meticulous, organized, and proactive
- Good team player with strong sense of ownership
- Good written and verbal communication skills
