As overall project manager, you are responsible for extensive construction projects and strategically relevant projects. You also lead the internal project team as well as the external partners, engineers and specialist planners. Together with them, you realise future-oriented and innovative construction projects from feasibility to turnkey handover. You will be able to assert and assert yourself in the management of complex and interdisciplinary projects. Your activities also include contract negotiations, chairing meetings, project management and controlling.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive project management experience in large design and construction projects preferably with Health Care Sector background.
Responsibilities:
- Being in charge of specific project(s)
- Chairing as well as attending client, contractor as well as design meetings
- Managing and negotiating service contract with client as well as contracts with subconsultants and contractors
- Managing change requests by client, subconsultants and contractors
- Oversees all architectural teams in project-in-charge and coordinates with all disciplines involved in project (e.g., architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical, medical planning, interior design, and landscaping).
- Oversees review process for shop drawings, RFI, material samples, method statement, etc.
- Liaises with design team on design, coordination issues.
- Oversees and monitor progress of on-site work and resolves any arising issues.
- Establish requirements of Site Office Operations by the contractor.
Qualifications:
- Graduated with a recognized Degree in Architecture and registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore.
- Possesses 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices.
- Possess good knowledge of local building codes and regulations, authority requirements and compliance ability.
- Team-oriented personality and at the same time, be able to work together with Design and Site personnel.
