Our client is a CMS licensed Asset Manager and they are currently looking for a Compliance Manager to lead a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team and assist the Director to implement and maintain governance and compliance policies and procedures
- Serve as the point of contact for regulators
- Keep management abreast of all related local and regional compliance and provide guidance/advice to the management and team
- Provide professional compliance advisory support to relevant business units
- Lead compliance related work for all new clients and existing relations
- Provide advice with respect to marketing requirements of funds in various jurisdictions
- Carry out compliance audits and internal control procedures
- Organize and plan compliance trainings to educate team members
- Liasing with external legal experts, auditors, compliance advisors and corporate secretaries.
- Ad-hoc projects or tasks as may be assigned from time-to-time
