Job Description
As an educator, you will be planning, preparing and implementing the programmes for the children, 18 months to 6 years, in accordance to the the centre's policies and framework.
Other responsibilities include:
- Providing caregiving in accordance with standards and procedures
- Planning and implementing Curriculum and Programmes
- Engaging children meaningfully in accordance with the curriculum and pedagogical frameworks
- Implementing classroom management strategies
- Preparing teaching resources
- Documenting children's learning and development through observation and developmental reports
- Collaborating with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between the home and the centre by building a positive relationship with parents and children.
- Demonstrating behaviour that is aligned with the Centre's vision, mission and values
- Working well independently as well as within a team
Job requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T)/Diploma (Conversion) in Kindergarten Education-Teaching
