New exciting opportunity supporting our client, a leading global biotech company! We are currently seeking an experienced IT Regional Project Manager to join our client’s dynamic team on a 12-month project, with a high chance of extension or conversion.
As the Regional IT Project Manager, you will be part of the Global team, reporting directly to the Regional IT PMO Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of IT projects across the APAC region by coordinating with local business stakeholders, the global IT team, vendors, and other regional IT resources.
The Role
- Managing IT Projects following our client’s IT Project Management processes.
- Prepare dashboard for meetings with Global IT PMO Leads.
- Aligning interests of various stakeholders with different agendas and priorities.
- Working with sourcing team and 3rd party vendors to track and manage purchase orders.
- Coordinating with the Global IT Team to manage the change management process for application/infrastructure for any APAC project cutover.
- Coordinating with other Global IT or Regional IT Teams as necessary for projects that are impacted by or have dependencies with other IT projects.
- Ensuring successful Hyper Care after project cutover.
Drive IT Project Execution
- Leading weekly status calls for key stakeholders and project team.
- Updating Project status, schedule, risks & issues.
- Discovering Risks/Issues and escalating to Regional IT PMO Lead / Senior IT Directors.
- Work with various stakeholders to mitigate Risks and resolve Issues.
Your Profile
- IT related degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Project Management experience.
- Strong Project Management Experience in the area of Web/eCommerce application migrations.
- Hands on Experience in completing at least 1 Full SDLC project delivery.
- Ability to work independently; highlight issues proactively and report progress regularly.
- General Technical knowledge in infrastructure such as client technologies and networking
- Good written and verbal communication skills including presentation at all level.
- Strong command of Chinese language is required to deal with Chinese counterparts and documentation.
