Job Responsibilities:
Assist to review of contractual documents and technical specifications.
To be involved together with the Senior Project Engineer/Manager for kick-off, pre-project/project meetings to ensure team members are clear on the objectives, deliverables, quality, lead-time, complexities and carry out the project execution and contingency plan, if any
Assist Senior Engineer/Manager to monitor the daily progress of activities to achieve on or before schedule by comparing the planned vs actual progress status, identify critical activities, improvements and/or contingency plans if any.
To be involved in technical meetings and assist in preparation change request submission as required.
To be fully in-charge of the coordination of the project, from the kick-off to delivery to client and commissioning work, including coordinating with the respective support units to ensure project is on schedule.
Preparations of the project documentations, furnishing drawings and documentations/reports to clients as requested Liaise with clients to keep them updated of latest schedule of changes if any.
Monitor on the work progress based on project timeline.
Keep track of project status, prepare, and submit weekly/monthly progress reports as required.
Work closely with Project Manager/Engineer to set up and maintain an efficient document control register, system and procedures Prepare document transmittal and submissions to clients.
Liaise with subcontractors, vendors for updates and documentation.
Ensure documentation register is up to date with latest revision of documents, both received and submitted.
Ensure all project documents are properly files, stored and archived for future reference.
Carry out other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior or higher management.
Job Requirements:
Min GCE O Level / A Level / Diploma
Min 1 - 2 years of experience in Project and Documentation Control Project management and organisational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise and perform work in a timely manner. Perform duties with accuracy and with strong degree of urgency Highly organised and a team player.
Capability to multi-task, respond to change, and adapt accordingly Time management and effective communication.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, comfortable working independently and taking a high level of responsibility A self-starter with positive attitude.
Good Technical/Engineering competency would be an advantage.
